  • Jeffrey Thompson

    Dr. Jeffrey K. Thompson is the Senior Pastor of the Ft. Lauderdale Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was born on the island of New Providence, which is in the country of 700 islands The Bahamas.

    He is a product of Adventist Christian education. For example, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Northern Caribbean University. Likewise, he received a Master of Arts degree in Church History from Andrews University. Moreover, he graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in Conflict Management from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary.

    Dr. Thompson commenced his ministry in the Bahamas Conference, where he served as a pastor and departmental director for several years. Afterward, he served as president of Cayman Islands Mission and Conference for almost 17 years. He has been a pastor for over three decades.

    He is also the author of three books. Similarly, he has pioneered two church publications. He is the recipient of numerous awards. Furthermore, his evangelistic accomplishments are noteworthy.

    More importantly, he has planted churches in The Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. Dr. Thompson is married Denise Thompson of Freeport, Grand Bahama and they have three adult children and two grandchildren.
