Elijah Campbell
Elijah Campbell was born in Miami, FL on December 19, 2001 via forceps when his heart rate dropped too low from having the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. He also aspirated amniotic fluid and had shoulder dystocia which resulted in him being in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 10 days in order to receive treatment and recover. Elijah was raised as a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian by his mom, Bertha Campbell and his grandmother, Tracy Campbell. From Pre-K to 3rd grade Elijah attended Sierra Norwood, a Christian school but it was not until 7th grade when he began to attend Miami Union Academy that he finally decided to give his life to Christ. Elijah and his mom began to attend Plantation SDA Church around 2013 and on May 23rd, 2015 Elijah was baptized into the Plantation SDA church family. Elijah currently attends Greater Miami Adventist Academy where he is completing his Junior year and he is involved in the film, sound, youth and men’s ministry at church. He has a passion for acting and singing and wants to be famous one day. Joining the pastoral mentorship program for Elijah has been a spiritual journey in itself and Elder Ahkeem Darden has been a great mentor and friend. Elijah hopes his story can inspire others to break their own cycles of sin and give their life to Christ and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
