Stoy Proctor served as Associate Director for Nutrition and International Health from 1984-2010. During that time he was Chairman of the General Conference Nutrition Council (GCNC), nutrition presenter on Life’s Beat for Hope Channel TV, and developed the Breathe-Free Stop Smoking Program with his wife, Leilani. He received his MDiv for the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in 1971 and his MPH in Nutrition from Loma Linda University School of Public Health in 1972. He was ordained as a Seventh-day Adventist minister in 1975 and has devoted his entire life to promoting healthful living in the context of Christian living.
