  • Jennifer Hernandez

Jennifer Hernandez was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Her love for sharing Jesus began when she dedicated her voice to Him, as a child by singing throughout the islands; preaching began during high school. Motivated to answer God’s call on her life, Jen moved her family to England, where she obtained her BS in Behavioral Sciences at Newbold College. Together with her husband, Armando, and their five boys, God has taken them on a journey of faith, with opportunities to share His love throughout Europe and the United States. She enjoys being actively involved in children’s ministries, women’s ministries, and worship ministries. Jennifer recently graduated with her Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary and is excited to now be serving as an Associate Pastor at Plantation Seventh-day Adventist Church.

  • Michael Stephenson

Michael Stephenson was born in Jamaica and lived in the British Virgin Islands before settling in the USA. He has served in various ministries in Plantation SDA church ever since he returned to the path that Jesus was calling him to 20 years ago.

Although he now serves as Plantation’s Mission Council chair he believes in ministry where essentially anyone can be a servant and there are opportunities at all levels of the organization for the Spirits giftedness to operate.

He is a strong advocate for Bible exploration with a sensitivity to contemporary applications – experiencing and living the word so that it can be believed in our culture and sphere of influence. This being a core foundation of our mandate and purpose in Christ.

Michael is married to Janice and they are blessed with 2 sons: Michael Jr. and Matthew. He is a Technology Consultant who spends too much time working but takes it as an opportunity to represent Christ to the unchurched in very real, practical ways. When he's not working, he enjoys amateur photography. A surprising fact about Michael is that he was the smallest kid in the entire high school until Grade 9.

  • Mozart Porcena

Mozart Porcena, Head Elder of Plantation SDA church gave his life to Christ at the tender age of 11 years old. Having been born in the SDA church, Mozart began to live out the training and teaching he received as a child, in the light of his decision to have a relationship with Jesus.

He describes himself as a man who has a love for God, family, service and Pathfinders. Affectionately, known as Mr. Mo by Pathfinders near and far, Mozart has served as head of not only Pathfinders, but Men’s, and Parking Ministries. He has also served as an Elder for a decade.

He holds a Master of Business Administration and has built a successful career in the Life and Health Insurance industry.
However, he considers his greatest accomplishments and duties as being the husband to the 2022 Broward County Public Schools Principal of the Year, Heilange and being the father to daughters: 21-year-old Alyssa and 16-year-old Alex.

In his free time, Mozart is a bit of a thrill seeker, his hobbies include jet skiing on a beautiful South Florida day or sky diving from 10,000 feet in the air. One of his favorite scriptures is Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
