Title: Created for Community
Series: Jesus At The Center of Our Community
Highlights: The creation narrative that is recorded by Moses in Genesis 1 and 2, comes across as very progressive in nature. With each day of creation God provides a platform for the ensuing day. For example, mankind was created on day six after everything that would be conducive to their daily existence and growth was put in place. The elements of design and intentionality on the part of the Creator is clearly borne out in the narrative. What is evident is that we were created to be social beings. We were never meant to do life alone. We were created for community.
