Taurus Montgomery

Pastor Taurus Montgomery is a husband, father, best-selling author, dynamic speaker, and an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He currently serves as associate pastor for youth and young adults at the Atlanta Berean SDA Church.

Pastor Montgomery is very familiar with the struggles and challenges facing young people today.

From age 12 to 19, he was trapped in a lifestyle of crime, fast money, and drug abuse. His life took a positive turn when one terrible night of devastation changed his destination. He surrendered his life to Christ and accepted God’s call to ministry.

He has since traveled the world sharing his inspiring story detailed in his autobiography Set On Fire. Nationally, he has toured to over 20 states and spoken at scores of public schools,t ouching thousands of at-risk youth in the inner cities; and internationally to Zambia, Ethiopia, India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Guyana and several other countries.

He completed his bachelor’s degree from the Oakwood University and Master’s degree from Andrews University, respectively. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Duke University, graduating in May 2027.

Having overcome the challenges of growing up in the ‘hood, Pastor Montgomery is uniquely equipped to ignite this generation of youth to believe that all things are possible when you put God first!

Pastor Montgomery is happily married to his wife Nicole and together they have three amazing children.
